About

This video is meant to educate viewers with what it may feel like to have depression or identify with it. I decided to have the video explain four key points about depression. With the end of the video presenting the viewer a way to take action either for themselves or someone in need by giving resources to help.

Process

To relate the illness to something physical and make it easier to understand, an overall theme of drowning was used as many people with depression may feel as if they are “drowning” in their own thoughts. The end of the video presents the viewer a way to take action either for themselves or someone in need by giving resources to help.
